Baby Brighton?

This last week we had our first doctor's appointment since finding out we were pregnant over Christmas. First off, I loved our doctor. Megan Bills referred me after praying pretty hard about where to go, and asking Megan was my answer. I'm so greatful I did because I do absolutely love him. He's a jokester but is very serious and comforting when needs be.

Well, we were hit with two surprises.

1) We were a month further along then we expected. Our due date is August 22nd, and when he first pulled up the images Brandon and I both were a bit shocked to see a BABY and not a little tadpole alien.

2) The doc THINKS it's a boy! We're not running out to shop yet, mainly because we don't have money, but also our official ultra-sound isn't until April. Here's the 4D image of our little tyke!

I've honestly had mixed feelings about the news. I've loved the idea of a little boy since the day we started trying for a baby, but I'm super intimidated by the fact that everything we own is for a girl, haha! Oh, and did I mention we're students that pretty much borrowed everything we had for Tori. So needless to say, I'm a little nervous about starting all over. If, however, I allow myself a break from stressing....I could absolutely die from excitement! I can hardly wait to meet him!

Congrats Jennie!!!! That is so super exciting. I know how you feel about starting over and having to buy all new stuff though! If your baby is a boy though, it will all come together I'm sure. Either way-- so much fun!!

Oh Jen I am so excited for you guys. I wouldn't know what to do with a boy either, but then I remind myself that I am married to one so who better to ask than him? BTW we will be coming to Boise in June so we should get together!!!

How fun! I like Brighton, too, and how great you're a month along more than you thought!

Boys are so much fun. I wasn't sure what to do with one either, but now I feel the opposite. As for not having any boy stuff or the money to buy stuff, that is what baby showers are for. Also have you been to Other Mother's yet? If not than we need to get together and hit all the awesome re-used kids stores here (not to shop, but to get you familiarized with them)
