Now That It's Summer.....

With the coming of the warm weather Brandon and I having been feeling anxious to get outside and get our summer started. Whenever my mood changes, the kind of music I'm listening to changes and is usually a good reflection of the mood I'm in. Phew, you guys are safe, because all I've got is extremely happy tunes on the mind, haha. But for those of you that don't know of my neurotic tendency to match my background with my music, well now you know! So, I wanted Brandon's opinion on what we should do for our header, and he produced this road sign for us...as awesome as I think it is, I unfortunately am going a different direction, however I still felt it deserved some recognition, and he was excited about his creation!

If feels like it's been a while since we've talked to anyone, so for those that care, here's a little update on what we've been busy doing.

Work and School. These two things are basically our lives, but Brandon is almost done, WA-HOO! I think he's found a real talent in his Finance Emphasis, which isn't surprising coming from a math savvy family. He's been busy applying for jobs in Boise, Idaho Falls, Sugar City (whaaaaa...Salmon's rivals, NO WAY, haha), Washington, and hopefully with enough nagging, Colorado, Arizona, California, and well I'm really ready to go anywhere. Work has been good for me! I'm still struggling to figure out the complicated world of insurances, but I love all my co-workers and I've enjoyed shmoozing the other dental offices.

Sports. So, Brandon is on our ward football team, and it's become quite a high light for us during the week. We've made a lot of good friends in our ward, and now we look forward to weekly team BBQ's. Next week starts the championships for intramuarals and Brandon's competitive VBall team the Knights, who are kicking butt! I've recently gotten into tennis lately, which I'm way psyched about and tonight I start training for the marathon I'm determined to run in!

Family. These are in no special order, but I guess it's no secret that we haven't gotten enough family time lately. Krissy and Meygan are doing really good, and we're grateful that they're both at their home now safe and sound! Brandon and I were really happy to help out where we could, but we're still anxious to seem them again now that they're back in Salmon. We have a lot of family things that we're looking forward to this summer. Of course, both Dean and Session reunions sometime, Meygan's blessing, a trip to the cabin in California, Lagoon with Pres and Mandy over the 4th possibly, Grandma Sessions 80th birthday, and a trip to Denver with my would-be sis Brie, yippee!! We'd like to go to Moab for some camping and biking over labor day weekend or the weekend after if anyone's interested!

And that's really the latest updates. I, personally, have been doing a lot of reading, so any suggestions are welcome. We'd love to hear how everyone else's summers are going!!

Hey I am not sure what kind of finance stuff your hubby is into. My Dave works at a GREAT place called Clearwater Anaylitcs in Boise...downtown. He loves his job and the poeple.I couldn't describe what Dave does since it is way over my head. Anyway if Brandon is interested in applying there let me know and I will get you Dave's work email. They are almost always hiring.
