Recently, we hiked across the Brooklyn Bridge, but I was devastated that we completely forgot to take the kids to this carousel. Luckily, a friend of ours wanted to go shortly after our blunder, so we hopped a ferry for a fun day in Brooklyn.

If this isn't the dreamiest carousel you have ever seen, than it's because this picture cannot actually capture it's perfection. Right on the water, glass walls, and traditional carousel horses decorated in large gems. |

Our ferry ride over. Brighton refused to sit. |

Waiting for their turns. |

This is how a MAN rides a carousel horse. |
|
You can't tell from this picture but Tori's horse is actually intended for Brighton's age. It was significantly smaller than the horse Brighton was on, but it took enough to get her on let alone ride a big horse. |

Beautiful metal embellishment in the cement. This place, in my opinion, is a must see!! |
