Is it possible to have so many amazingly fun things in a matter of like 5 days? Or even a summer? I haven't had much time to be as actively engaged in band hunting, oh between pregnancies, post pardum depression, moving to Boise, moving across the country, etc. but Imagine Dragons is one of the like 3 that I have become a devout follower of. They happen to be touring with one of the other bands I have developed a little love connection with (AWOLNATION) and talk about a horrible time to move to the East. These two bands are all over the west but not bringing their show to NYC. However, I was elated to discover that Imagine Dragons would make a solo appearance here and thus, was all over those tickets. Thanks to my Mommy dearest, Brandon and I were able to hit the town, Union Square to be specific, to see these guys at Irving Plaza. I liked these guys before, but rumor had it that a few of them were LDS, and call me shallow, biased, ridiculous, but I would lying if I didn't admit that my respect went up 10 fold when we noticed the lead singer Dan Reynolds was wearing g's.

I got the show time wrong so we ended up in line like an hour early and it would be about 3 hours of standing before Imagine Dragons would take the stage. I was definitely feeling my age. |

Opening act, Ghost Beach. We were impressed. |

Favorite shot of the night! Especially that guys head, but it was descent for the crap my camera has been producing! |

So part of the draw I have to these guys is this drum. I like anything unique that a lead singer can bring to the table, especially if it results in some great uninhibited performing. And Dan + Big Drum + Radioactive = chills and the irreversible desire to hit a drum really hard. |

We got to meet them after the show and get some autographs. I really drew a blank when I finally got to meet Dan, but Brandon managed to let him know that we were from Idaho and that we were glad they made it to NYC. To which he gave him a high five. I did force him to shake my hand, so yeah you could say I left an impression : ) |
Great night, great band, great music, and as always, great company. Love making these memories with the cutest guy in New York, in the US, nay in the world!
