We determined that this was actually my second ballet, and it was AMAAAAAZING! They did three ballets. The first was a contemporary ballet choreographed by their principle dancer Ryan Nye...it was obviously my favorite! They ended the routine dancing to a choir with a narrator telling a story about a couple in love. My description doesn't do it justice, it was fabulous!! They also did a classical piece to Debussy's Claire De Lune, which was alright...classical, haha! And finally they ended with a Pirate themed ballet. The story followed a group of pirates that were marooned on an island of female pirates. It was funny and the costumes were beaut-e-ful!
For the day of our anniversary, we geared up Bronco-style (which is appropriate, we were the only BSU fans amongst BYU fans in college) and headed to New York Richies for the disappointing BSU/TCU game. On the plus side, we have a lot of fun at New York Richies. They have the best pizza, best philly steak sandwich, sweet potatoe fries, and a to die for cheesecake. Not to mention, the regulars. There's a handful of people suffering from the same lack of TV channels as us that come faithfully to eat, cheer, and be merry on game days!! We all have our booths/tables and of course, we're the only weirdos that bring our kids, so they get doted on a ton by the other fans!! It was a SUPER fun anniversary dinner!
And just an update on my kiddos! Tori is all sorts of awesome! We just love her! She's very sweet to Brighton, and has blossomed into the funnest social butterfly. She seems very attentive to children that are nervous and she'll try so hard to make them comfortable. It's really endearing! I wish I could say it's how I've raised her, but she's just her own little special spirit and I'm not sure I can take credit for that! She loves having friends, dressing up like Cinderella, going on pretend missions, and singing. Boy does this girl sing!
This isn't the best picture of Bright, but his outfit is cute and most days he's just in sleepers. So Brighton was 3 months yesterday. He still has his bad days and better days with the acid reflux, but he giggles A LOT. So we know he's at least trying to be happy regardless of whether his tummy hurts or not. And did I mention DIMPLES on each cheek?? He's very attentive to voices he recognizes. He'll look really hard when Brandon walks in the room talking until he finds him. He's so awesome and he's just fit in perfect with our fam!
Had to show off Tori's borderline boy outfit. She loves to PLAY dress up but not to be dressed up. She's a tennis shoes and hat girl...this was just a rare photo op of her hair actually done!

And now let the crazy holidays begin! YAY! See you after!
