Bigger, Busier, and Warmer....

I've been wanting to blog for a while, but have also been so lucky to have a couple weeks to go visit and be visited by friends and family, so haven't had time to. Now getting settled back into the Boise life, I have a chance to show off some adorable members of my family. And I am referring to the cutey inside me with the next picture.
This isn't the greatest picture of the 29 week belly, but I've only had my phone to work with as far as pictures go, and hey, what can you expect from a phone that only works for 2 minutes at a time? So besides the overexposure, there it is! My major fashion obsession this pregnancy has been skinny belts around the rib cage. It really is my go-to accessory, so from this point on you probably won't see me without one. Thank you Rue 21 and your $2 belts.

This pregnancy is literally flying by. And knock on wood, but I've been feeling a lot better lately...maybe it's the weather and having more to do outside! I was taking multiple sudafeds and tyelonols a day and am now down to zero a day, which is fantastic! I've successfully walked every morning for a week and a day straight now, which up until about a week and a day ago, was not happening. And it's been really great for me and Tori, specifically me. I complain a lot about the elderly neighborhood we live in, but there's a bunch of regular walkers that go out about the same time as Tori and I, and it's been fun having them stop us to talk or dote on Tori and let her see their dogs. It's been good for me to humble up some and realize my attitude has just been terrible. That's pregnancy related right? Haha!

At our second to last appointment my doctor had promised me another 4D image of our little man, which he offered after telling me that my outfit reminded him of a pirate. I guess he felt bad! Haha! But I was so excited that Brighton cooperated, because I just fell in love with him all over again once I saw this picture!

This past weekend, one of my prego partners in crime came to visit with her little boy Porter, and she caught this most perfect picture of Tori while we were swimming.
We can also thank Porter for motivating Tori to try out her arm floaties, so she was able to get in the big pool with us....which she laughed and laughed about.

Tori has been dealing with a lot of new things lately. We finally got rid of the binkie, bought her a potty that she's been getting familiar with, and transitioning her to a big girl bed.

On Sunday she took her first nap in it! It was adorable! We're only a week into Brandon's new semester and it's already been so busy. Brandon's schedule is super crazy with school, work, shadowing and scouts, he's in for a hectic summer. We actually had to sit down and schedule time during the week to spend time as family. Thankfully, Tori and I have had plenty to be working on too, so I guess it's a better time than any to be preparing for a new family member. Come fall things will slow down schedule wise just in time for Brighton and just in time for things to get all sorts of crazy again, haha!
