Sadly, yesterday was Tori's last dance class downtown. I would highly recommend these Mommy and tot classes even if you're not a "dancer." Our main incentive for doing it was to get Tori a little more social interaction (and let's not beat around the bush, for myself as well), and I have to say the boost of confidence really helped her. She seems a lot less anxious around groups. In fact, she's gone to nursery twice now without shedding a tear. I thought the class covered a good variety of basic not just dance related, and overall it was just a fun time to cheer Tori on and expose her to that sense of accomplishment.
Her last class wasn't ideal...she was pretty grumpy, but that morning she had been excited about it so I'm glad we got a few pictures.

This was how Tori wanted to pose outside of Fort Boise. She looks like she's crying but she's really cheesing it. Model in the making!

Showing off her tutu! We got this from our Aunt Brit when she was an infant, and it's cycled back now that she's stretched out some so it actually fits again....yay!

Tori tried on all the tutus, and then wanted to dress up her animals too. Moreover, she was really excited to get a picture of it. Oh the things little Brighton has to look forward to!
And here we are in class with the scarves....one of Tor's favorite parts. For some reason yesterday, she decided instead of dancing with them she wanted to lay them out on the floor. Kind of looked like she was doing laundry, which isn't surprising...for the first couple weeks her two favorite activites were cleaning up the props and taking a rest time. She's a strange girl : ) But I'm oh so proud of her!
