Summer Highlights....

This promises to be a lengthy entry, seeming I haven't blogged about a single awesome thing we've done this summer (Amber, I hope this isn't overdoing it). So, I'll try to keep my descriptions short and sweet!

City of Rocks and Burley

Brandon and I have been wanting to go to the City of Rocks for a long time, so we finally got to go with Grandpa and Grandma Dean, Aunt Brits, and Uncle Eric, Aunt Brie, and Tayli!! It's awesome! Tons of climbing fun to be had and amazingly beautiful!

This particular rock, I think named Bath Tub Rock, had handles to aid in climbing up and down. The up wasn't bad, but I pretty much hyperventilated on the way down.

Following that weekend, me and Tori went back to spend a day in Burley with Aunt Brie and Tay. Aunt Brie really spoiled us. She took us to a fun little place where they had all kinds of bouncy houses and slides. Tori loved it all, except for the big slide...if you couldn't tell Brie really liked it. 4th of July

Our awesome brother-in-law Preston hooked us up with a hotel room in SLC, so we could hit Lagoon for the weekend. The hotel was a real diamond in the rough, such a novelty in the middle of a lot of city.

Lagoon was perfect weather and normal crowds! Tori loved Lagoona Beach and she got to go on a big kid ride with Daddy!

And even though it's past and gone, it wouldn't be my favorite holiday without some fireworks!

So, I'll be posting a different post about the Bighorn Crags, because I know everyone's dying to see what I hiked 20 miles to see!!
