Some days are good enough to be their own holidays....

We caught a of glimmer of hope today after entering into what I now have dubbed Idaho's fifth season following spring, called miserable, stupid, no good rain and rain and more rain (as pictured above, and although pretty...so relentless)! After checking the weather report last night, my day quickly filled up with every summer activity I've been waiting to do! And gotta say, it was sort of perfect!! I'm mainly featuring the highlight of my day though, swimming with Tori!

Tori in her new swimsuit from Grandma Sessions! Just realizing it's not the best pic of the suit cause you can't see the skirt or the belt, but it takes too long to upload, so you'll have to settle for her adorable face instead! You'll notice that that piece of grass above her lip remains there through most of the pictures haha, I'm a fend for yourself kind of parent!


I got a kick out of this, Tori would splash her fingers in the water.....

And then lick them.


Before she'd get in the car she had to have her beach towel that Grandma Dean gave her for her birthday. I think she thought it was a blankey, which it's definitely soft enough to be but either way she wouldn't leave it alone!

We also got to spend the morning walking around town with Grandma and Aunt Kortne, snacking on backery yums and candy, and shopping around for clothing and new water toys we can't really afford, so all-in-all a really good day! I only wished I had done my running today because tomorrow I'll be doing it in the rain! Ugh!
