Christmas Fun....

I hate how fast Christmas goes by! Which is why I'm leaving my Christmas playlist on for a while, haha! So, we had a lot of fun in Salmon with my parents and my sis's family. We spent the week doing all the fun stuff I didn't get to do for our post-poned Sessions reunion, starting with gingerbread houses. After some research on the net, Brandon and I decided to go with a gingerbread train. I, personally, thought it turned out awesome. We had one car carrying the "coal" or chocolate covered raisins and the other car pulling "logs" or chocolate candy canes (great for dropping in a cup of hot cocoa)!

And it wouldn't be Christmas (at least Christmas with Brandon) without some sort of football bowl. Those of you Boise State fans out there....we understand your pain!! My mom set up a snack table with popcorn, chips and dip, candy, and pizza, so we ate away our sorrows!

Christmas Eve wasn't quite as traditional this year, but super fun nonetheless! After reading Luke 2, we got to watch my sister and her family open their presents from Grandma and Grandpa, which was hilarious. Riley after each present was content to play, only to be surprised by "ANOTHER present." And Aimee, the oldest daughter, would jump up and down and squeal after each present saying, "Thank you, thank you Mamo." After that we hit the lights and played with some glow sticks that the kids got in their stockings, which wouldn't have been half as psychadelic had there not been some Pink Floyd and Deep Purple playing in the background (courtesy of Jonathan). Here's the glasses Brandon made...styling!

Christmas Day finally came, and shockingly I was sick all day, haha...not enough to care, but enough to notice unfortunately! This year Brandon and I decided to go all out for each other, so he got me Diamonds, and I got him a new Hummer (which is now on sale...typical car shopping exprience). Mrs. Santa Clause (aka My Mom) was very good to us this year as well, but I was most excited for the stocking she got for Baby Dean. It was filled with little bibs and cute daisy shoes, so I thought that was really fun and thoughtful (and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE penguins)!

I got my white Christmas afterall!! There was plenty of sledding done with only one major injury that involved a few stitches. Bentley loves the snow and also enjoyed sledding. He would hop right on any time you sat down on a sled. He's been like that since he was puppy. He always liked going down the slide on his own at the park! As already noted it all went by too fast, and we with heavy hearts took down our tree yesterday : (

On a funnier note, the slide show I made of all our Holiday pics keeps showing up with some other girls pictures on it, haha! I should just leave it on here and we could all enjoy her fun, but out of respect for privacy, click here for my slide show....those that are interested.
