Orlando

Brandon and I just got home from our trip to Orlando, Florida, so I'm posting some of the high light moments. Our first two days there were pretty miserable! I did"t fly well at all, and was pretty sick the whole day! The next day we got suckered into a time share meeting that lasted 3 hours, and the people were ridiculous even after telling them over and over, thanks but no thanks!! So when we FINALLY made it to Disney World, we were disappointed to find out that they were short two of our favorite rides from Disney Land. Moral of the story, if you want to take your kids....go to Disney Land! However, if you're dying to see a real castle, there's no beating Sleeping Beauty's castle in Orlando.

Our second day we randomly decided to hit one of their many water parks, which was an unexpectedly fun day! It was called Typhoon Lagoon, and I would suggest it to anyone planning on visiting. They had a HUGE wave pool....the wave that came out was kind of scary it was so BIG! They also have slides called "Water Coasters" which were a total blast. They use really powerful jet streams to shoot you up and down and all around. It was really cool! The biggest highlight that day was a little salt water pool that you could snorkel in with live fish and sharks. Brandon LOVED it, but I kind of panicked and swam as fast as I could to the other side. I blame my whimpiness on the pregnancy!

One of the busiest days was our day at Universal studios, only because we had a full day at the park, and a full night at Halloween Horror Nights! Awesome, awesome, awesome! I can't rave enough about Universal, so here's some of the fun stuff from that day!

And if you want to see the prettier parts of Florida, Cocoa Beach was really cool. We saw an alligator on the side of the road that Brandon coaxed out the water, and although the ocean water is murky and kind of gross, it's warm and the beach was surprisingly clean!
