Weekend Warriors!

Man, I'm just a blogging machine! But I had to let everyone share in on my fun day courtesy of Brandon. Yesterday we had plans to go to Yellowstone with my brother Ben and his fam, but of course, I woke up with a migraine, so needless to say I was way bummed that I wasn't feeling up to going....and they even saw two bears in the park!! So after sleeping it off, Brandon surprised me and took me to Driggs for a round of golf....in the snow, might I add. Our feet were soaked, but it was still fun!! Then we cruised up to Jackson, met a fun couple from Monterey, tested out water in several overly-priced restaurants, and found myself a fantastic little boutique that I plan on raiding one of these days. Brandon also surprised me today with some candy, a card, and an Applebee's gift card for Mother's Day! I have every intention of undergoing the painful miracle they call motherhood someday, but as of right now I feel totally undeserving of this specialty treatment. I hit a ball out on that snow, and sadly had no way to get to it.

Of course, we had to take a pic with the antlers! We tried taking one ourselves by propping our camera on top of a road sign, which was extremely scary when a sudden gust of wind sent the sign swaying like crazy. Thanks to our friendly Monterey couple, we managed to get the ever common tourist shot!
